Akvavit, Orkney Spirits Limited, 70CL, 41.5% ABV

Orkney Gin have taken their experience making multi award-winning gins to create something completely unique. Orkney Akvavit is distlled one more time - eight times. They distill it with botanicals such as caraway, citrus, and hand picked rosehips. Orkney Akvavit has a very unique refreshing taste, with bright caraway notes, citrus and warm star anise.

Historically Akvavit was enjoyed alone either cold or at room temperature. Some sources argue that it is also the perfect accompaniment with a nice beer in one hand, and the Akvavit in the other. We love that too, but our favourite has to be with a lovely Indian tonic. For those of you who need that fiery fierce kick, try with ginger ale, it's incredibly versatile, and not one you'll forget.
