Two Fields x Hackney Essentials

We’re excited to share something special with you — our collaboration with Two Fields, now available at Hackney Essentials. Together, we’ve created a limited-edition tin of their regenerative extra virgin olive oil, produced in eastern Crete.

Background & Location

Two Fields is a farming project started by brothers Will and Harry, based in Zakros in eastern Crete.


What began unexpectedly — after Harry met Eleni, a third-generation olive farmer — has grown into a life rooted in olive farming and community. After apprenticing with local growers, they moved away from conventional agriculture and began working organically, focusing on regenerative practices.


Following the loss of their mentor, Will and Harry shifted their focus from expansion to collaboration. Today, Two Fields is a collective of around fifteen families, working together to share knowledge, support organic farming, and the long-term future of small-scale growers.

Harvest & Tasting Notes


Harvested between October and November 2025, this season has produced a fresh, vibrant oil already proving popular with chefs.


As always, the focus remains on careful harvesting and maintaining quality at every stage — from tree to press — preserving the clarity and energy of the fruit.

This season’s oil combines greener, grassier notes with the classic Greek taste, to give a stronger but balanced flavour.


As is the Greek way, it’s an oil for everything — to drizzle, dress and dip liberally all year round.

Two Fields works closely with some of London’s most respected kitchens, including Brawn, Brat, Toklas, Ottolenghi, 

Little Duck and Manteca —

a reflection of how well the oil performs across both simple and more refined cooking.
