Keep it Loose, Equinox Wines, Alternative White (Skins) 2023, 11.5%, 750ml

Keep It Loose comes from a name I wrote on one of my barrels during harvest and serves as a reminder not to take life too seriously sometimes but to have fun and just Keep It Loose. 

Made from a blend of varietals; Viognier, Colombard, Grenache Blanc and Chenin Blanc and forms part of the Pool Wine Series. These wines are fun and produced in a fresher style with light extraction of flavours and good acidity. 

Keep It Loose was made alternatively which means that no additives, except a small amount of sulphur, was added and a very minimalistic approach was followed when making the wine. The Colombard vineyard is a 35 year old, unirrigated bush vines from the Riebeek Kasteel area in Swartland. 

The Grenache Blanc comes from the more sandy soils of the Paardeberg.
